Actually, “Bible” does not come from the Hebrew “Babel” which means “Gate of God” but from the Greek “biblos” which means book.

I also don’t believe Iraq was the birth place of the cradle of civilization, but I don’t agree with your findings as well. To take the book of the bible, the real name and meaning of is Babel, which you know the meaning of it when one (babels)as your road map to the truth only shows that you are more wrapped up in the BIBLE/BABEL/BABYLON, just as the majority of the world!
I hope that you are pleased with your findings!

@Adam: thanks for sharing that! I didn’t know about Moses’ Cushite (Ethiopian) wife. I thought he only married Zipporah, daughter of Jethro the Midianite priest. But you are right, he married an Ethiopian. Although the Bible doesn’t mention how they came to be together, Josephus does (a Jewish historian. Search his name on Wikipedia). Check this out:

Okay I was going to say something about how the ark might have been built somewhere near Ethiopia because Noah’s wife was from Ethiopia and he was critisized because she was black (ethiopian anyhow, and often in the bible ethiopians are associated with having dark skin so its an assumption they critisized on skin color, but I think its a reasonable assumption)… but after searching I realized that was Moses that married the ethiopian, not Noah (Numbers 12:1). So nevermind. You’re good on that one… I just figured I spend 5 minutes searching so I’d at least let you know what I discovered. lol.
